Betcris, a wagering firm with a focus on Latin America, has become the primary sponsor of Honduras’ premier soccer league.
The league has been rebranded as Liga Betcris de Honduras through a three-year contract.
This is Betcris’ most recent alliance in the Americas. They already sponsor the National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States, LigaPro Betcris in Ecuador, the Mexican Football Federation, and the Ecuadorian Football Federation.
Gabriel Núñez Del Arco, the head of sales for Betcris, stated: “It’s a great honor for Betcris to partner with a soccer league in Central America, such as the Honduran National League. We are aware that their teams have a rich history and tradition.
“We aim to contribute to the development of sports in the nation through this significant partnership.”
Wilfredo Guzmán, the president of the Honduran Football League, stated: “We are consistently seeking to enhance our operations, and we have found a sponsor with global prestige. We appreciate your trust. We are confident that this partnership will be advantageous for Honduran football. Today, the Honduran Liga Betcris embarks on a new journey.”
Betcris, headquartered in Malta and owned by TV Global Enterprises in Costa Rica, operates in nine Latin American nations, including Mexico, Peru, and Panama.
In the previous year, Betcris forged a long-term collaboration with Major League Baseball (MLB) to become the official sports betting platform for the league in Latin America. This partnership grants Betcris the right to display the MLB logo on its website and mobile application.
As part of the arrangement, Betcris will broadcast MLB’s most significant games and playoff encounters globally in Betcris-licensed and regulated Latin American nations.
